Tools Needed:
If the lawn bed is already prepared, you need the following:
- Plenty of Water
- Hose, & Sprinklers or Sprinkler System (for a 5,000 square foot lawn you should have
a minimum of two 50 foot lengths of 5/8" hose, two good sprinklers, and one
hand sprinkler)
- Sod Knife or Knife (for cutting and fitting sod)

- Fertilizer & Spreader
(preferably the broadcast type)
- Roller (optional)
Tools for Soil Prep and Grading:Garden Rake or Grade Rake
Hoe and/or Rototiller
Spade or Shovel
Wheelbarrow
(handy for hauling sod distances or into tight areas)
